Photography is my passion and I am always being challenged. My interests are wide and varied. I am still developing my style and I haven't locked in a particular genre but I am leaning towards living things.

I enjoy photographing athletes pushing hard for a new PB, especially our youngest ones. It is very rewarding for parents to see that the commitment and sacrifice is evident in the images.

Candid photography is another area that I particularly enjoy. A good example is when I attend a family gathering/event and use a long lens. Being further away means that I can capture special moments like a gentle touch or smile from a family member that would otherwise be uncomfortable in a more formal group photograph.

More recently, I have explored landscape and wildlife photography. The nature of this photography means that one needs to be prepared and very patient. The tiny birds on my property are particularly difficult to photograph. They are difficult to see and they don't stay still for very long.
